Winter in the Garden.

Winter is wearing on and will soon be coming to a close. The days are getting longer (FINALLY!) and we were even able to walk the dogs in the dim light of the sunset today. But the air remains cold, the frost continues to settle, and it reminds me that I will not be planting as soon as I would like too. I have created my planting guide, a nifty little spreadsheet with all of the essential data to keep my brain focused. I have purchased many of my seeds. Most of which are garden staples and a few unique newbies, the most exotic of which is quinoa. I am very much looking forward to my first plantings and I am currently planning my cloches.

The photos below are from December and the garden was so pretty that morning.

Crimson Clover. Pretty now? Wait for spring photos on this one!!
