Yardening should be an American (or any other nationality for that matter) pastime. Every night, after work, we come home, do our chores, and step outside for a little yardening. It is a family affair, me, the hubs, the yard dogs. We are all there. We take in the changes in the yardin since the day before. We tend to plant needs, inspect each item, note growth, pests, and other unexpected things.
Yardening is relaxing, strolling about the yard, tossing the ball for a yard dog, picking the days bounty, maybe sipping a cocktail. It really is a wonderful way to unwind, appreciate your nature, your place in the world, a way to feel accomplished with what you have done.
I love my yardin.
